Las Vegas Sun hosts basketball players and coaches from Southern Nevada’s top presenting high school teams for a media day previewing the upcoming season. Mirroring a professional sports press junket, on-site photographs and interviews are conducted with students, coaches and two Super Seven all-city teams.

Las Vegas Sun hosted its annual High School Basketball Media Day at Red Rock Casino Resort & Spa. Presented by Athletics, Las Vegas Aviators, and Zero Teen Fatalities, the event mirrored a professional sports press junket, featuring photo sessions and interviews with high school basketball teams from across Southern Nevada.
Between interviews, student-athletes and coaches enjoyed a lively atmosphere in the ballrooms, with a surprise appearance from Stomper, the Athletics’ mascot, and engaging booth activations from Zero Teen Fatalities, Larry H. Miller Utah Summer Games, and College Basketball Crown. Attendees tested their skills in basketball challenges and entered raffles for prizes, while US Navy Officer Recruiting showed its support as an event sponsor. Each participant received a commemorative t-shirt provided by Nu World Graphics, continuing a favorite Media Day tradition.
