Honorees, friends, colleagues and readers gathered together for Las Vegas Weekly’s 2022 Best of Vegas celebration on Thursday, June 16, 2022 at AREA15. From iconic Vegas classics to brand new, innovative experiences, awards were given to over 100 people and businesses in Las Vegas, each who help make Las Vegas a world-renowned destination. Presented by Resorts World Las Vegas, the Y2K-themed-event began with a VIP reception exclusively for honorees inside of the “Sanctuary.” Honorees and their guests enjoyed light bites courtesy of AREA15, and complimentary cocktails provided by Nevada H&C Distilling Co that were provided throughout the evening. Attendees were then transported back in time to the late 90’s and early 2000’s within the “Portal” and “A-Lot” spaces. In the “Portal,” honorees received their framed award certificates and a special gift box containing a custom branded fanny pack, stickers, Resorts World swag and cookies supplied by Freed’s Bakery. Additional sweet treats were provided by Nuage Cotton Candy and Pinkbox Doughnut’s Best of Vegas alumni booth. Sponsored by AYR Wellness, attendees memorialized the evening through photos, GIFs and boomerangs at Desert Cactus Booth’s photo booth. Unique photo opportunities from a life-sized TV installation and neon LED stereo wall were also provided for guests by Fresh Wata.
